Can you imagine how fucking wild ladies must have gone for the rejection in pride and prejudice right after it was first published. This guy’s making ten thousand a year and her family is expecting her to find accommodation for herself sooner rather than later and STILL Lizzie is like “no. No. True love only. And also while I’ve got you here please accept my invitation to fuck off.” I would’ve lost my damn gourd, I would’ve gone bonkers. And group chats didn’t exist so you’d just have to hope your friends were as far into the book as you so you could meet at the village green to throw a fucking riot

I’d write my friends an urgent communique as soon as I’d finished the Collins proposal scene too like “My dearest Anne, you simply won’t BELIEVE the developments of this chapter. Read urgently and respond post fucking haste!!” And seal it with a wax stamp and shit.

Please picture the following

Wonder Woman greeting T’Challa with the Wakanda Forever salute, but forgetting what happens when she clashes her gauntlets like that

Accidentally blowing him through three walls, a car, and M’Baku

He is, of course, completely fine, but that was certainly not the greeting he expected from the suddenly VERY apologetic Princess

Bonus: T’Challa runs back to Diana and does the salute again, channeling the power from the improved kinetic absorption and redistribution on his suit, and launches Diana straight into the sky. They laugh about it later.

This is the wholesome content I signed up for

Further bonus: during a later team-up, the villain has T’Challa by the throat and is threatening to snap his neck if Diana comes any closer. She hesitates, at which point the villain laughs and asks if T’Challa has any last words. Of course he does:

“Wakanda Forever…”

Diana just smiles…

Donna Noble was a female character who:

-was in her early forties but didn’t have her life all together yet

-didn’t have a perfect Hollywood figure but nobody made a joke about her weight (to my knowledge)

-super funny and empathetic

-doubted her capabilities at first but learned to trust herself

-wanted to go on crazy space adventures but simultaneously wanted to get married and have a family and she was never derided for wanting both

-had a rich platonic relationship with the Doctor

-Appreciate Donna Noble

The film starts with two siblings talking, and it ends with two siblings talking. But here, he’s being honest with her. He’s telling her everything, telling her the truth. You see the difference between T’Challa and his father.
